Voice: Marshall was the best thing to happen to Frank Wright

January 08, 2001

Having known John Marshall for 22 years both personally and as an educator, it is with deep regret to hear of this transfer.

Mr. Marshall has always been extremely caring and concerned about our (Imperial students) children. He is firm but the children always knew they could speak to him and he would listen fairly.

Junior high is the most difficult age group to lead and Mr. Marshall did it with his heart and soul. His children (students) always came first, being there to help them through this most difficult transition of their lives. Without knowing the board's reasons, I think they have made one of their biggest mistakes yet (and we know there have been many). This could be something that they should correct come June if not sooner.

Mr. Marshall was the best thing to happen to Frank Wright and I think he should be asked back. Be thankful if he accepts.
