Native Sons celebrating Press' 100th anniversary

The Native Sons of the Golden West will celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Imperial Valley Press at 3 p.m. Saturday at the press building in El Centro.

The Imperial Valley Press is the oldest continuous operating business in the Imperial Valley.

Native Sons of the Golden West grand president Clare McCullough, along with a corps of grand officers, will be present for this celebration.

The Native Sons of the Golden West parlor is made up of native-born Californians working to preserve the history of our state. The Native Sons mark historical sites and are the official sponsoring agent for the Cleft Palate Foundation. The Native Sons is a fraternal organization that promotes and preserves the history of California.
