Imperial Valley Regional Occupation Program is seeking eligible participants for its Project PRIDE (Promoting Responsibility, Integrity, Determination and Economic Self-sufficiency).
The PRIDE program will serve former foster care young adults ages 18-24.
Staff will work with qualified participants to ensure they are participating in services designed to assist them in becoming self-sufficient.
The scope of services includes vocational training, job readiness and employability skills instruction, leadership and self-esteem sessions, referrals to subsidized housing programs, transportation, child care and on-the-job training.
Staff will assist qualified participants in problem-solving any obstacles or barriers that may interfere with participation in program activities. Qualified participants will receive assistance with job placement in areas in which they have aptitude and interest.
