Boca remains atop IVSL

The Imperial Valley Soccer League has finished its fourth week of play with the undefeated Boca Juniors remaining atop the standings.

Napoles beat Aguilas 4-1 last Wednesday. Alonzo Gamez, Manuel Fuentes, Luis Gutierrez and Alfredo Estrada all scored for Napoles while Agustin Arredondo scored Aguilas' goal.

Juventus beat Santos 1-0 in the second game Wednesday. Hector Gamez scored the goal.

On Thursday Boca Juniors beat Inter F.C. 8-0. Robert Guerrero and Eduardo Vega both scored one goal and Edgar Gonzalez and Jose Bojorquez both scored three.

On Friday Panteras beat Morelia 2-1. Sergio German and Humberto Torar both scored one for Panteras while Mario Trujillo scored Morelia's goal.


Real Madrid and Galaxy tied 1-1 Friday. Carlos Alatorre scored for Real Madrid and Moises Garcia scored for Morelia.

This week's matches include Inter F.C. against Aguilas, Napoles against Juventus, both on Wednesday, Morelia against Santos on Thursday and Boca Juniors against Real Madrid and Panteras against Galaxy on Friday.

Boca Juniors (4-0-0) remains in first place with 12 points, Panteras (3-1-0) and Napoles (3-1-0) are tied for second with nine points. Juventus (2-1-1) is in third place with seven points, Santos (2-2-0) is in fifth place with six points Real Madrid (1-1-1) and Morelia (1-2-1) are tied in sixth place with four points. Inter F.C. (1-2-0) has three points, Galaxy (0-3-1) one point and Aguilas (0-4-0) no points.
