March 14, 2001|By MARIO RENTERÍA, Staff Writer

The Imperial Valley Soccer League men's division games for week six were suspended because of heavy rains.

It is the second week of play suspended this season as a result of heavy showers.

League president Rafael Contreras has decided to resume the league from the fifth week so teams will not have any games suspended.

This week's games will start tonight when Inter F.C. will play Aguilas on the south field at 8.

Real Madrid will battle Boca Juniors on the north field tonight at the same time.

On Friday, Galaxy will face Panteras on the south field while Santos will play Morelia on the north field. Both games will start at 8 p.m.

On Sunday, Napoles will play Juventus at 7 p.m. on the north field.

All games will be played at Swarthout Park in El Centro.

During the coaches' meeting Monday, Contreras announced the women's and U-19 men's divisions are taking team registrations.
