Voice: Lack of God in homes, not schools, is the problem

March 15, 2001

In Bret Kofford's column "Life Out Here" in the March 7 issue of Imperial Valley Press, why didn't he include drugs (as well as blaming television, movies and the news)?

Also, the lack of God in school is not the problem … it's the lack of God in the home. Schools have enough problems to contend with already, without burdening them with the controversy of religion in the schools. That is the responsibility of parents.
