Keeping in mind that Imperial County is one of the most economically depressed county in this state, I find it hard if not impossible to believe anyone would do anything short of bust their buns to see that beef-packing plant up and running. Six hundred jobs with the potential of 1,200 jobs should not be taken lightly.
Any time a plant of this size is built it's going to cause changes. There is always a solution to these changes.
The individuals building this plant deserve the utmost praise and support from everyone in this county.
