Family extends thanks and warning on smoking
The family of Mildred Cook would like to take this moment for all smokers to reflect very hard on what they are doing to their loved ones. Mother died of lung cancer.
Not a smoker herself, she lived with smokers who gave her "secondhand lung cancer." Please, think what you are doing to those who live with you and love you the most. If just one person can quit, it could save more than one life.
We would like to thank Dr. Suarez and Home Choice Hospice Services employees: Rene, Tama and Maria for the tenderness and understanding they gave to mother. Thanks to Bill and Jeanie Gordon, Carolyn Shelton and Aloha Huffines for the food they brought, and to the wonderful members of Western Avenue Baptist Church for the luncheon they gave. Thanks for all the cards and prayers of our many many friends. Thanks to Dick and Karen Ashurst for the use of their R.V. Thanks to all of you who sent flowers and plants.
