Voice: Kofford's joking about heart attacks is insensitive and disgusting

April 07, 2001

In the March 28 opinion by Kofford, I was stunned by reading it. To make a joke, or try, on such a sensitive subject as heart attacks and attempt to be funny and make fun of anyone in such a manner is rude, very insensitive and disgusting.

I read this twice and felt very much disappointed after feeling the paper had improved.

"The" editor should not allow this and I hope you do have a "The" editor.

This isn't even an opinion. Come on and start reviewing opinions before publishing.
