Kiwanis golf tournament

Registration is being accepted for the Kiwanis golf tournament April 28 at Lakeview Golf Course near Seeley. The cost is $50 per golfer. For more information call 353-7000 or 358-7232.

Softball tournament

Sign-ups are being accepted for the Spring Break Classic men's and women's softball tournament on April 21 and 22. Cost is $175 per team. For more information call 352-9793 or 355-1868.

IVDA registration

The Imperial Valley Desert Aquatics swim team is holding registration. Interested swimmers should come by the Lions Center pool from 5-7 p.m. Mondays through Fridays or call Mary Ellen Hannon at 344-0514.


Northend Babe Ruth

Northend Babe Ruth will hold sign ups from 6-8 p.m. Tuesdays through April 21 and 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday at Wiest Field in Brawley. The registration fee is $30.

Girls basketball camp

Brawley Union High School will have a girls basketball camp for all ages from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday through Thursday at the Brawley High gym. The registration fee is $25. Calexico Babe Ruth

Calexico Babe Ruth will hold final registration for 13-year-olds from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday at Rodriguez Field. The registration fee is $35 and proof of age is required. No further registration will be accepted for the 2001 season. For more information call Mario Sanchez at 357-8450.

powerlifting meet

The Imperial Quarterback Club will sponsor the seventh annual Steve Zarate powerlifting meet at 9 a.m. Saturday at the Imperial High School gym. Admission is free and the public is invited.

Imperial Babe Ruth

Imperial Babe Ruth will have an organizational meeting to elect officers at 6:30 p.m. Monday at the Imperial Moose Lodge.

Imperial Quarterback Club

The Imperial Quarterback Club will meet at 7 p.m. Monday in room 25 of Imperial High School.

IVFCA meeting

The Imperial Valley Football Coaches Association will meet at 7 p.m. Wednesday in room 25 of Imperial High School.
