The Imperial County Sheriff's Coroner's Office is still awaiting toxicology results before determining the cause of 2-year-old Kateland Marie Titsworth's death.
As of this morning, the Coroner's Office had not received the results, said Chief Deputy Coroner Sgt. Rick Macken.
Last week, Coroner's Office Investigator Gary Hayes said the results could be in as early as the middle of this week.
Police and medical personnel responded to a Westmorland residence the night of April 9 in reference to a 911 call about an unresponsive 2-year-old.
When officials arrived at the scene, Kateland had no vital signs. She was transported to Pioneers Medical Center in Brawley, where she was pronounced dead that night.
