Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday in Frye Chapel & Mortuary in Brawley for Jose Gustavo Caudillo, 44, of Brawley, who died Friday in Pioneers Memorial Hospital in Brawley. Rosary will be said at 6:30 p.m.

A determination of the cause of death is pending investigation.

Funeral services will be at 9 a.m. Thursday in Riverview Cemetery in Brawley with the Rev. Roque Vano officiating.

Mr. Caudillo was born Feb. 5, 1957, in Brawley and was raised there. He worked in transportation for 10 years and was the father of three children.

He was preceded in death by his brothers Robert Caudillo in 1987 and Peter Caudillo in 1992.

Survivors include his sons, Gustavo, David and Martin Caudillo, all of San Bernardino; wife, Frances Valtiera of San Bernardino; mother, Maria Caudillo of Brawley; father, Merced Caudillo of Brawley; sisters, Inez Flores of Imperial, Lucy Castro and Margaret Sigala, both of El Centro, Connie and Betty Caudillo, Stela CastaƱeda and Mary Cornejo, all of Brawley, and Yolanda Chavez of San Diego; and brothers, Raymond Caudillo of San Francisco and Johnny and Richard Caudillo, both of Brawley.



Funeral services will be at noon Wednesday in Frye Chapel & Mortuary in Brawley for Mariano L. Accuar, 93, of Brawley, who died Sunday in Villa Convalescent Hospital in Riverside. Pastor Alex Buccola will officiate.

Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery in Brawley.

Mr. Accuar was born Sept. 2, 1907, in the Philippines and was raised there. He came to the United States in the late 1920s and moved to the Imperial Valley from the San Francisco Bay area in 1935. He was a self-employed truck driver in the produce business for more than 50 years.

Survivors include his wife, Lucia Accuar of Brawley; and three sons, two daughters, 17 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and one sister.
