El Centro Police Department detectives recovered stolen property after following leads from a residential burglary Wednesday.
El Centro police Detective Angie Cuevas said a residence in the 1000 block of Ross Avenue had property stolen early Wednesday. About $8,000 worth of property was stolen.
Cuevas said police recovered some $2,000 worth of the stolen property from a residence in the 1000 block of Lenrey Avenue after following some leads in the case.
The recovery of the stolen property came shortly after the burglary.
Further information was not available for release because the case is still under investigation, Cuevas said
Cuevas did say investigators have some information that could lead to the arrest of some suspects.
