She was preceded in death by her husband, Alberto Camacho, in 1965.
Survivors include her daughters, Paula Villaseñor of Soledad and Cecilia Camacho of Calexico; sons, Manuel Camacho of Salinas, Alberto Jr. and Jesus Camacho, both of Soledad, Lucio Camacho of Riverside, Frank Camacho of Rialto, Armando Camacho of Fontana, Pete Camacho of Salinas and Arthur Camacho of El Centro; sister, Cruz Nuñez of Calexico; 32 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 tonight in Frye Chapel & Mortuary in Brawley for Polly Driskill, 54, of Westmorland, who died of cancer Saturday in her home.
Graveside services will be at 9 a.m. Wednesday in Riverview Cemetery in Brawley. The Rev. Tommy Charlton of Full Gospel Church of Brawley will officiate.
Mrs. Driskill was born Sept. 6, 1946, in Arkansas and moved to the Imperial Valley in 1955.
While in the Imperial Valley, she met and married Weldon Driskill in El Centro on Nov. 3, 1972. She worked as a radio disc jockey for KROP from 1994 to 1996.
Mrs. Driskill enjoyed helping people as a well as craftwork, according to family.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Lucille Warren, in 1986; and father, Leroy Warren, in 1996.
Survivors include her husband, Weldon Driskill of Westmorland; sons, Warren Mott of Westmorland, Mitchell Driskill of El Centro, Tony Driskill of Imperial and Paul Ellis of Phoenix; brother, Leroy Warren Jr. of Yuma; granddaughters, Faith Driskill of Las Vegas, Kaylee Driskill of Janesville, Wisc., and Katelyn Driskill of El Centro; and grandson, Alex Driskill of El Centro.
MARIA DEL CARMEN PEREZ
Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday in Frye Chapel & Mortuary in Brawley for Maria del Carmen Perez, 52, of Brawley, who died Saturday in her home. Rosary will be said at 7 p.m.
Mass will be celebrated at 9 a.m. Thursday in Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Brawley. The Rev. Jorge Moreno will officiate.
Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery in Brawley.
Mrs. Perez was born Aug. 17, 1948, in Mexicali. She married Jesus Perez in Mexicali on April 15, 1969. She worked for Avila Farms for several years before becoming ill in 1990.
She enjoyed spending time with her family.
Survivors include her husband, Jesus Perez of Brawley; daughter, Mayeli Perez of Brawley; sons, Jesus Jr. and Abel Perez, both of Brawley, and Salvador Perez of El Centro; grandson, Abel Perez Jr. of Brawley; sisters, Gloria Navarro of Mexico, Maria Elena Ponce of Los Angeles and Josefina Garcia, Sandra Zacarias and Guadalupe Lara, all of Brawley; and brother, Alvaro Navarro of Mexico.
SOCORRO A. RAHIOTIS
Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday in Hems Bros. Mortuary chapel in Calexico for Socorro A. Rahiotis, 79, of Calexico, who died Saturday in El Centro Regional Medical Center.
Mass will be celebrated at 9 a.m. Thursday in Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Calexico with the Rev. Edmundo Zarate officiating.
Burial will be in Mountain View Cemetery in Calexico.
Mrs. Rahiotis was born May 15, 1922, in Concordia, Sinaloa, Mexico. She lived in the Imperial Valley for more than 52 years and worked as a cook for Foutz Rexall drugstore for more than 28 years.
Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law, Miguel and Alicia Rahiotis of Calexico and John and Lucy Rahiotis of El Centro; and eight grandchildren.
