For many years I had a church calendar depicting the Good Shepherd. After hanging for many years in many rooms, it was discarded.
However, my confidence in the Good Shepherd grew through the years and my prayers were answered many times.
Due to whiplash injuries, I had chronic headaches. Instead of taking pills I prayed to the Good Shepherd, used relaxation exercises and visualized the headache lessening. It worked.
Another time, after a "stroke," I was sitting on the side of the bed while trying to stand. But my weak legs would not support me. Again I prayed to the Good Shepherd and visualized Him helping me arise. Then, without a problem, I rose into standing position and remained standing. It worked.
The Good Shepherd has been my companion through my walk through life. I have invited Him into my heart and mind.
