Magnolia 4-H meetings
Magnolia 4-H Club will have a meeting at 6 p.m. Monday in the Brawley Elks Lodge. Those ages 5 to 19 are invited.
The club will have a separate sign-up night from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Sept. 19 in the lodge. Interested youths must be accompanied by a parent.
Magnolia 4-H offers projects such as rabbits, feeder calves, beef, swine and wildlife. The cost of membership is $10 for youths and $7.50 for adults. Horse projects for adults and youth have an additional $2.50 fee.

First aid class
A community first aid class, based on National Safety Council-approved basic first aid methods, will be offered from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Sept. 25 in conference room 1 in El Centro Regional Medical Plaza, 1271 Ross Ave.
The program will be conducted by accredited nurses and paramedics. The cost is $30 and pre-registration is required.

Al-Anon program meetings
Al-Anon family group is offering an English- and Spanish-language 12-step program for friends and families of people suffering from alcoholism.
