CALEXICO — San Diego State University, Imperial Valley campus, along with other state-run California universities, canceled Tuesday's classes in response to the terrorist attacks on the East Coast.
SDSU-IV spokesman John Renison said the university was back on its normal schedule this morning.
The order to cancel classes and close state offices came from Gov. Gray Davis, Renison said. The directive was both a safety precaution and a show of respect for those affected by the tragedy.
