SDSU students support ‘Cal State' blood drive

CALEXICO — In light of the recent national crisis, the Associated Students of San Diego State University-Imperial Valley campus and the Cal State Student Association are encouraging Imperial Valley residents to donate blood through the "Cal State Cares Blood Drive" being conducted throughout California.

Imperial Valley residents can donate blood at El Centro Regional Medical Center, Pioneers Memorial Hospital in Brawley and other blood banks throughout the Valley.

Also, to demonstrate support for the victims of Tuesday's attacks, the Associated Students of SDSU-IV will host a candlelight vigil at 7 p.m. Saturday at the Calexico campus, 720 Heber Ave.
