E.C. library switches to winter schedule

El Centro library switches to winter schedule

Starting Monday, the El Centro Public Library, 539 State St., will begin a winter schedule. The library will be open 54 hours each week.

Winter hours for the library will be 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Mondays and Tuesdays, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesdays and Thursdays, and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays.

People interested in receiving a free library card should when they visit the library bring identification such as a California identification card or California driver's license showing a current address and either a rent receipt, utility bill or first-class piece of mail that shows their name and address.

Parents also may apply for library cards for their children by completing and signing their children's library card applications and returning them to the El Centro Public Library.
