Voice: Glad Bush talking like a tough cowboy

October 05, 2001

Sooooo glad that this guy is the president! Enjoy …

From: the Oct. 1 edition of US News and World Report, page 3, titled: "Straight Shooter":

"To hear President Bush talk about his anti-terror campaign, it's showdown time in the O.K. Corral. There've been references to ‘dead or alive' wanted posters, roundups and promises to ‘smoke out' the enemy. There's even more Texas talk in private meetings where Bush tells the tale of how ranch owners are expected to get rid of their rattlesnakes. If one doesn't: ‘Do you know what we do? We change the owner.' "

An allegory to the Taliban government of Afghanistan? You decide.

Call it saber-rattling, cowboy Wild West talk or evidence of a not so brilliant intellect, but here is a man who can lead and bring to justice those who attack freedom.
