McCabe 4-H meeting and potluck

McCabe 4-H Club will have its October meeting and family potluck at 6 p.m. Tuesday in McCabe school, 701 W. McCabe Road near El Centro.

The potluck begins at 6 p.m., followed by the meeting at 7 p.m.

Mount Signal 4-H Club will have its October community meeting at 7 p.m. Monday in the McCabe school multipurpose room, 701 W. McCabe Road near El Centro.

American Cancer Society meeting

The American Cancer Society will have a support group meeting at 5:30 p.m. Monday at its office, 400 S. 8th St. in El Centro.

The group meets the first and third Monday of each month. All cancer patients, family members and friends are invited. Refreshments will be served.

Native daughters meeting

The Native Daughters of the Golden West, Parlor 330, will have a dinner and meeting Monday.

The dinner will be at 5:30 p.m. in Celia's Restaurant in El Centro, followed by the meeting at 7 p.m. in the senior center in Imperial.

Sexual assault response training

The SURE Helpline/Rape Crisis Center will offer a 40-hour sexual assault response team training course. The training will be Monday through Nov. 28.

Trained SART volunteers will be able to assist in giving support to sexual assault victims and their families.

The Wintergarden Toastmasters Club meets Tuesdays from noon to 1 p.m. in the Old Post Office Pavilion, 230 S. 5th St. in El Centro. The public is invited.

Imperial 4-H Club meeting

Imperial 4-H Club will have its monthly meeting at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Imperial Valley Expo in Imperial. All members are invited.
