During September, Cellular One of California and Arizona raised more than $1,125 for the American Red Cross disaster relief efforts.
Those who signed up for wireless service in September could donate their activation fee to the Red Cross. Customer donations averaged $15 per activation.
"By working together, we can make a difference for the Red Cross during this national time of need," said Wayne Heffner, Cellular One's director of sales in El Centro.
