Texas seminar to focus on procurement and contracting opportunities at banks

The Asian Development Bank, the Inter-American Development Bank, the North American Development Bank and the World Bank, in conjunction with the Free Trade Alliance San Antonio, will host a seminar focusing on procurement and contracting opportunities available with these institutions.

The seminar will be from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Nov. 1 in the west room of the Hyatt Regency Hotel, 123 Losoya St., San Antonio, Texas.

Attendees will be given an overview of the types of projects the participating institutions finance and how they partner with other businesses, companies and individuals on environmental infrastructure projects within the United States and abroad.

Opportunities will be available for seminar participants to meet one-on-one with the various multilateral development bank staffs as well as with representatives from the U.S. Department of Commerce Export Assistance Center.

Seminar luncheon keynote speaker will be Carole Brookins, newly appointed U.S. executive director for the World Bank

The cost of the seminar is $95 per person, which includes continental breakfast, lunch and cocktail reception
