Enalasys integrates patented technology

October 29, 2001|STAFF REPORT

Calexico-based Enalasys Corp. will integrate air-monitoring technology patented by Portland, Ore.-based AirAdvice into its heating, ventilating and air-conditioning diagnostic product line and monitoring services.

In a release Enalasys CEO Eric Taylor states, "The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency reports that indoor air in many homes is five times worse than the outdoor air in our most polluted cities.

"Using the computerized diagnostic equipment from Enalasys and AirAdvice, contractors can directly address homeowner concerns about indoor air quality. At the same time they can evaluate and identify ways to improve the performance of their heating and cooling systems, which consume as much as one-half of all energy used in the home."
