She was a member of First United Methodist Church of El Centro, White Shrine and Eastern Star, where she was a past worthy matron.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Audith Davidson; and husband, Gary Dailey.
Survivors include her sister and brother-in-law, Janice and Jim LaBarge of Sacramento; and one nephew and two nieces.
JOSE "JOE" I. ROMO
Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Monday in St. Margaret-Mary Catholic Church in Brawley for Jose "Joe" I. Romo, 46, of Brawley, who died Thursday in Pioneers Memorial Hospital from complications resulting from a stroke. Rosary will be said at 7 p.m.
Mass will be celebrated at 9 a.m. Tuesday in St. Margaret-Mary with the Rev. Amador Lopez of St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Calipatria officiating.
Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery in Brawley.
Mr. Romo was born Feb. 23, 1955, in Mexicali. He and his family came to the Imperial Valley in 1961, settling in Brawley, where he attended school.
He married Maria Aguirre on April 16, 1973, in Mexicali.
Mr. Romo worked in agriculture, working for various companies. Lately he had worked primarily in hay harvesting. He was a member of St. Margaret-Mary Catholic Church.
He is survived by his wife, Maria Romo of Brawley; sons, Jose R. and Adan E. Romo of Brawley; daughter, Lizbeth L. Romo of Brawley; parents, Evaristo and Francisca Romo of Brawley; sister and brothers-in-law, Ana and Pepe Aguilar of Brawley, Maria Leonor and Robert Rubalcaba of Brawley, and Norma and Rito Garcia of Brawley; sister, Patty Romo of Brawley; brother and sister-in-law, Frank and Letti Romo of Brawley; grandchildren, Jose R. Romo Jr., Eddie Espinoza Jr. and Lizbeth E. Espinoza, all of Brawley; and numerous nieces and nephews.
