The week of Oct. 7-13 was designated National Fire Prevention week by the National Fire Protection Association.
On behalf of the Imperial Valley Fire Chiefs Association and El Centro Fire Department personnel and staff, we would like to take this opportunity to thank all the following participating agencies and associations of their continued participation and support of the fifth annual Public Safety Parade and Fair. This event was hosted in El Centro on Oct. 13 and it is estimated there were about 2,500 people in attendance.
