BRAWLEY — A 29-year-old transient was arrested on suspicion of burglary here this morning after police found him hiding inside the burglarized store.

Brawley police Lt. Henry Graham said officers responded to a tripped alarm at the Factory 2-U clothing store at 525 Main St. at 2:52 a.m.

When police arrived they were met by the store manager.

Graham said one of the front windows had been smashed, adding police found Chad Albert Hill hiding in some clothing.

Hill remained in the county jail this morning.
