Dynamo won its other two first-round games by scores of 4-1, beating both the San Diego Pegasus and the Vista Storm.

Dynamo coaches Jim Graham and Steve Walker, despite being disappointed in their squad's performance in the final, spoke highly of Jerry Barrios of El Centro and Pedro Ramirez of Heber, new additions to Dynamo this year.

Barrios filled in for Lance Johnson of Imperial, who broke his leg. Johnson will be rejoining the squad soon.

Dynamo will continue practicing for the State Cup in February.
