Brawley Union High School teachers recently nominated and elected Marianne Wenzel and Tim Dowden as teen-agers of the month for November.
Marianne is the class of 2002 treasurer and vice president, Campus Life president, member of Junior Statesmen of America, Conflict Resolution, the volleyball team and the varsity swim team. She is a delegate for Girls State.
Marianne enjoys spending time with her family and friends, water sports, snow skiing, camping on the beach, Bible study and 4-H.
She plans to attend a university or Bible college after graduation. Her parents are John and Jeanine Wenzel.
Tim is captain of the wrestling team, senior class president and president of Junior Statesmen of America.
He enjoys spending time with friends and family and working on his car.
Tim plans to attend Stanford University to study environmental engineering. His parents are Dan Dowden and Belinda Olson.
