Imperial library hosting reading program

IMPERIAL — There will be a holiday reading program at the city of Imperial Public Library over the holiday break.

Library technician Fred Fontaine said along with the reading program, there will be games and prizes. Children of all ages are welcome to join the program, Fontaine said.

The reading program will run from noon to 2 p.m. Dec. 26-28, in the library at 200 W. 9th St.

Fontaine also wanted to remind library-goers that the library will be closed Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. For the remainder of the week the library will be open from 11 a.m.-5 p.m.

The library will be closed New Year's Eve and New Year's Day.
