January 07, 2002

All the funds raised through our annual poker run go directly to benefit our annual Thanksgiving basket give-away.

We would also like to thank these businesses for displaying our canned food donation containers where they collected canned food items from fellow employees and their communities: Clinicas de Salud Del Pueblo (Brawley), Imperial Caltrans construction office, Midway Caltrans maintenance yard, Brawley Caltrans maintenance yard and Su Casa restaurant.

The individuals who made donations and the many volunteers for helping prepare and deliver the food baskets we want to thank are: Irene Mendez, Dee Lopez, Mona Neri, Zeke and Rene Mendez, Isabel Pacheco, Art Valdez, Aurelio Pina, Mike Barros, Ramos Lopez, Chuy Ruiz, Ray Cadiz, Daniel Medina and family, Mario Gutierrez and family, Mike Smith and family, Ernie Nuñez and family, Brother Speed M/C Oregon, Duke H.A. M/C Washington, Booze Fighters M/C San Diego, Brawley Family Billards (Carlos), Wonder Bread, Garcia Foods and special thanks to Catholic Charities.

Once again our 2001 annual Thanksgiving basket give-away would not have been a huge success without the support of all these individuals who contributed to this worthy cause in one way or another.

This year's Thanksgiving basket give-away benefited less fortunate families throughout all of the Imperial Valley. Your participation in this worthy cause is greatly appreciated and we look forward to working with you again next year. Thank you for helping us make the holiday season for the less fortunate a happier one.
