Voice: Center for Family Solutions Christmas program kudos

Every year for the past 24 years Center for Family Solutions has a Christmas assistance program during the holidays to provide gifts and/or food to families victims of domestic violence and those in need. For the past four years we have also provided an adopt-a-family program as well.

We were able to provide assistance to 42 families (108 children) who participated in the Christmas assistance and adopt-a-family program. Many caring member of our community, organizations, businesses and agencies donated food, toys, quilts and many other items that made our Christmas assistance and adopt-a-family possible.

On behalf of the women, men and their children who seek our help. Center for Family Solutions staff and board of directors, I would like to thank the following organizations that helped make our Christmas assistance and adopt-a-family program such a success:

KSWT 13, Revolution Car Club, Sears, Imperial Valley College, Inkredible Tattoos, the District Attorney's Office, California Highway Patrol scale FAC, Campesinos Unidos, Imperial County Office of Education, Optimist Club of El Centro, Soroptimist Club of El Centro, U.S. Customs, El Centro Police Department, Rostros Car Club, Drug Enforcement Administration, Frank Wright Middle School, Social Security Administration office, High Tech SSS Club, Holtville Middle School, St. Anthony's Church, Grace Lutheran Church, Laurete Iota Amicron Heather Schenck, Lyla Corfman, Rebecca Reel, Erica Allen, Veronica Wright, Ivagene Furguson and all organizations and caring individuals who we may have unintentionally neglected to mention.
