A state of the city address and breakfast for El Centro will start at 7:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Old Post Office Pavilion, 230 S. 5th St.
The event is sponsored by the El Centro Chamber of Commerce & Visitors Bureau's government affairs committee.
Mayor Larry Grogan and chamber President John Anderson are expected to discuss what business and community leaders can expect from the city and the chamber during the next 12 months.
Attendance is open to the public. The breakfast is free for chamber members, and $3 for the general public. Reservations are required. Call the chamber at 352-3681.
