Three El Centro residents were arrested Wednesday, two for reportedly possessing narcotics and one for allegedly having a forged check.
The arrests were made by El Centro police Officer Robert Sawyer, who nabbed the three after making a routine traffic stop on Seventh Street and Euclid Avenue shortly before 9 p.m.
Arrested were Gabriel Tabarez Jr., 25, who was arrested on suspicion of possessing bindles of methamphetamine; Antonio Davila, 21, on suspicion of possessing 6.7 grams of marijuana and small amount of methamphetamine; and Veronica Gonzalez, 21, on suspicion of possessing a forged check in the amount of $400.
The three were booked into the county jail and remained in custody this morning. Their bail information was unavailable at presstime.
