Imperial Valley Soccer League authorities announced the league is ready to start once a few teams have registered. League officials will begin the schedule of games next week.

IVSL president Ramon Lopez announced if at least three or four teams register this week, a schedule of games will be created next week.

Only one team, Real Madrid, has registered. Lopez said once the teams register the league will send the registration papers to the California Soccer Association. The CSA will send Lopez a letter of association, which the city requires to allow the league access to the city parks.
