Ms. Dymond's response reflects the feelings of many parents and friends in the Valley. How ironic, that Imperial Valley College is planning customer service into their curriculum. Mr. Woeten should be on the top of the list, especially for the sessions on treatment of people and sensitivity in the workplace.
AB196 clearly outlines the schools and teachers requirements regarding teaching "special" education needs. This goes way back to the 80s when dyslexia, amblyopic and attention deficit disorder were finally given medical recognition and children were no longer categorized in a negative manner.
We need more articulate and outspoken parents like Ms. Dymond standing up for the youth of today.
