The Imperial Irrigation District Board of Directors will consider approval of $33,600 to provide technical assistance in responding to comments and finalizing the environmental study for the quantification settlement agreement.

The board meets in open session at 5 p.m. Tuesday in the William R. Condit Auditorium, 1285 Broadway, El Centro.

The draft QSA programmatic environmental impact report was released Feb. 1 for a 45-day public comment period.

In other business, the IID board will:

· consider renewing its lease with this newspaper for Brawley-area office space. The three-year lease extension would cost the district $1,766.02 monthly for the first year, beginning March 1, $1,836.66 monthly the second year and $1,910.13 per month the third year. The increase would be 4 percent in the second and third years.

The office space is used by the district's power department and is at 135 S. Plaza St.

· consider adoption of a formal amendment procedure for the annual budget as requested by Division 5 Director Rudy Maldonado.

· consider approval of $82,980 for the completion of an environmental audit of district facilities. The money is already in the current year's budget.

· receive an update on the efficiency study.
