Voice: Sept. 11 was God's warning about homosexual unions and other depravities

February 19, 2002

This letter is in response to the letter written by Mr. Robert Felburg.

Apparently Mr. Felburg is not aware of the fact that homosexuals have the same rights as heterosexual people except for marriage. Under the Clinton administration gay rights received a tremendous amount of support. Because of moral decadence this nation suffered under Clinton's administration God surely brought his judgment upon us. Thank God almighty that we now have an administration that supports and encourages moral responsibility in all people of America.

Over the last five months I have seen people come to ask questions about Jesus Christ, a growing awareness that God holds us accountable for our behavior and there is a consequence for sexual sin.

Marriage is a foundation of any great civilization. As is written in Genesis Chapter 2 verse 20-24, woman was made for man as a mate. No place in Genesis is it written man was made as a mate for man.

In Genesis Chapter 19, verses 1-29 we read about two great cities that were destroyed because of homosexual sin. We also read in the history of Israel how sexual sin was a contributing factor in God bringing judgment upon the once great nation. All you have to do is read the Bible and it will be clearly shown to you.

The last 40 years we have seen a great decline in our moral values due to our drug culture and the attitude of sex, drugs and rock 'n' roll. Now that the generation that grew up in those times has teen-age children, we see the error of our ways.

On Sept. 11, 2001, God sent us a wake-up call and it is time for us to recognize his warning to us. We must turn the tide of immorality by denying civil unions to homosexual people and stop the preferential treatment they have enjoyed over the last 10 years. They should be treated the same as anyone else except for civil unions.

In closing let us look to Romans Chapter 1 verse 28: "Furthermore, since they did not think it worthwhile to retain the knowledge of God, he gave them over to a depraved mind, to do what ought not to be done".
