This is in response to the PROBE letter in Friday's paper written by someone who didn't want to divulge their name because he or she was afraid of the special education lobby.
First of all, from what I read most of the letters concerning Mr. Woeten were written by concerned family members. There was no talk of child's rights.
Granted, there are children born to drug mothers, but most of them can speak clearly. My son has severe language disorder syndrome and can't speak as well as some children and no cause has been found for his disability, and every test imaginable has been done on him.
I am not a belligerent parent wanting my child's "rights," and I wish to God he was never in a special needs class.
