Crimson River Quartet to perform Saturday in First Baptist, El Centro

The Crimson River Quartet will present a concert of gospel music at 6:30 p.m. Saturday in First Baptist Church, 724 Orange Ave. in El Centro.

The group features veteran quartet singers and musicians who combined have spent more than 70 years in the gospel music business.

The concerts feature Southern gospel harmonies, messages of faith and hope and "some good old-fashioned fun." The programs include some of the latest chart-topping singles, along with old favorites and traditional hymns.

The quarter will be performing many songs from their six recording projects, including "Safe Forever," "What A Meeting!!", "Praise and Worship" and "Through Another Day."
