Peter Camejo, the Green Party's candidate for California governor, will attend a political forum Wednesday at San Diego State University-Imperial Valley campus.
The forum on "Housing Problems for Working People" begins at 6 p.m.
In addition to Camejo, candidates for Calexico's City Council are scheduled to appear.
Camejo is a 61-year-old Venezuelan-American who was active against the war in Vietnam.
He is chair and co-founder of Progressive Asset Management, which promotes "socially responsible" investments.
He is working to create a "solar mortgage" that will fund solar power installation through home mortgages.
