The more one examines the source of contributions to the Garcia for Assembly campaign in relation to the contributions to the Blake Miles campaign, it becomes clear who will truly represent us: Garcia's money is rich in Sacramento political interests, where Miles' is rich in local interests.
It's becoming obvious that the only reason Garcia is capable of running is the influence of Sen. Battin (though she does have more experience than he did when he first ran).
That much political money could only have come
because of Battin. The only way she could get so many politicians' endorsements is Battin. The only way she could get that much political capital from Sacramento is Battin.
Just how much interest Battin has in this race begs the question of why Battin is playing party boss, and how many political favors are being negotiated, which he or she will have to pony up to — and at what cost to our Valley communities?
