An Oregon man wanted on several sex-related crimes with minors, kidnapping and illegal drug activity has been arrested in Mexicali and turned over to U.S Authorities.

Samuel Bartow Jr., 58, of Redmond, Ore., was in the Imperial County jail this morning with bail set at $3 million.

He was arrested by Baja California authorities Tuesday in the Colonia Libertad area of Mexicali, according to the La Cronica newspaper of Mexicali.

According to Mexican authorities, state police stopped Bartow because he looked suspicious. Authorities then were able to determine he was wanted by the FBI.
