I write to share some good news from the county jail. Mr. Terry Miles, an inmate serving as a work trustee, recently helped in painting, remodeling and maintenance work in the jail facility and elsewhere in the county. The skill, pride and care shown by Mr. Miles are plainly seen in the quality of his work. I am also told that inmate Miles saved the sheriff and county over $21,000 in outside costs and labor.
Thank you Sgt. William Hall Jr. and Mr. John Lankford for bringing this good man to our attention. I had the pleasure of meeting Terry Miles, and he is indeed a kind, talented and humble person.
If anyone may have work available for this hardworking craftsman, please let us know.
