Survivors include her sons, Raymundo Reyes of Mexicali, Rodolfo Reyes of San Diego and Humberto Reyes of Yuma; daughters, Gloria Reyes of Calexico and Norma Marron of Yuma; and brother, Antonio Ibarra of Mexicali.
PEARL E. LEDYARD
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 tonight in Frye Chapel & Mortuary in El Centro for Pearl E. Ledyard, 86, of El Centro, who died Thursday in Premier Care in Palm Springs.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Sts. Peter & Paul Episcopal Church in El Centro. The Rev. Paul Gambling of Yuma Episcopal Church will officiate.
Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery in El Centro.
Mrs. Ledyard was born June 19, 1915 in Pensacola, Fla., and attended schools there.
She married Gordon T. Ledyard on Dec. 22, 1932 in Pensacola. The Ledyards celebrated their 69th wedding anniversary in 2001.
With her husband serving in the U.S. Navy, the couple moved often before coming to the Imperial Valley in 1952, settling in El Centro.
Mrs. Ledyard owned and operated a ceramic shop in El Centro for several years, where she taught classes.
She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star.
Mrs. Ledyard enjoyed playing bingo with her friends and working in her garden. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother, according to family.
She was preceded in death by her son, Gordon Wayne Ledyard, in 1998; and three brothers and three sisters.
Survivors include her husband, Gordon T. Ledyard of El Centro; daughter and son-in-law, Luana and Eddie Glen Reed of Brawley; grandchildren and spouses, Russell and Tina Ledyard of El Centro and Kimberli and Brian Roe of La Quinta; and six great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
