IMPERIAL — At the City Council meeting here Wednesday the council will be discussing three matters pertaining to the city's streets, according to City Manager Vincent Long.

On the list of topics for discussion will be a recently approved measure for street improvement, a discussion about what should be done about

a recent increase in the number of RVs parked on city streets and a traffic study, according to Long.

Long said police have recently noticed a proliferation of RVs parked at various locations throughout the city.

"By RVs we mean all kinds of vehicles that are parked for extended periods of time. It could be a boat or a trailer used for hauling things," said Long.

In addition to going ahead with a proposal to work on improving various streets in the central business district, Long said the city will be contracting for an extensive study of the city's traffic patterns.
