EDUVIGES "QUIQUET"

ROSALES

Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Sunday in Hems Bros. Mortuary chapel in El Centro for Eduviges "QuiQuet" Rosales, 42, of El Centro, who died of cancer Tuesday in her home. Rosary will be said at 7 p.m.

Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Monday in Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in El Centro. The Rev. Jaime Escobedo will officiate.

Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery in El Centro.

Ms. Rosales was born June 13, 1959, in El Centro, where she was raised and graduated from Central Union High School.

She worked at Wrights Party Store in San Diego for eight years.

According to family, Ms. Rosales was an avid dog lover and her dogs were everything to her. She will be missed by her family and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Francisco and Francisca Guerrero; sister, Sandra Eduardito in 1972; and brother, Joe Robert Rosales in 1999.

Survivors include her parents, Jose and Dolores Rosales of El Centro; sisters, Yrene Ochoa, Leticia Rosales and Loleta Noriega, all of El Centro; brothers, Ricardo, Ruben, Jesus and Francisco Rosales, all of El Centro; and numerous nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts, cousins and godchildren.

MARY ELLEN GONSALVES

Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Monday in Hems Bros. Mortuary chapel in El Centro for Mary Ellen Gonsalves, 74, of El Centro, who died Monday in El Centro Regional Medical Center. Rosary will be said at 7 p.m.

Mass will be celebrated at 9 a.m. Tuesday in St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Imperial. The Rev. John Baggio will officiate.

Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery in El Centro.

Mrs. Gonsalves was born Aug. 26, 1927, in East Wareham, Mass. She came to California with her parents at age 3.

She attended Heber and Acacia elementary schools, attended Imperial High School and graduated from Holtville High School in 1947.

Mrs. Gonsalves helped raise her younger brothers and sisters after the death of their mother in 1948.

She moved to Sacramento in 1957 and returned to the Imperial Valley in 1995.

According to family, Mrs. Gonsalves was an excellent cook who enjoyed cooking for family and friends. She also enjoyed gardening and spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her daughters, Stephanie and Ellen Marie Gonsalves, and grandson, Theodore Gonsalves Jr.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Andrea and Armando Perez; son and daughter-in-law, Theodore and Patty Gonsalves; son, Paul Gonsalves; grandsons, Andrew, Trevor, Joseph and Paul Gonsalves Jr.; sister and brother-in-law, Vivian and Jerry Hamilton of Tennessee; sister, Jo Ann Chapin Finley of El Centro; brothers and sisters-in-law, John and Mary Jean Roderick and Joseph and Barbara Rodrigues, all of El Centro, Roy and Katy Roderick of Rio Rico, Ariz., and Manuel and Rosa Roderick of Imperial; brother, Luis Rodrigues of Stockton and Edward Rodrigues of El Centro; and 35 nieces and nephews and numerous grandnieces and grandnephews.

JOHN T. LIVINGSTON

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday in Hems Bros. Mortuary chapel in El Centro for John T. Livingston, 80, of Holtville, who died April 24 in El Centro Regional Medical Center.

Graveside services will be at 9 a.m. Monday in Evergreen Cemetery in El Centro. Pastor Jeff Hudelston of First Christian Church of El Centro will officiate.

Mr. Livingston was born June 1, 1921, in Cleveland, Miss. He lived in the Imperial Valley for 57 years.

He served in the U.S. Army.

Mr. Livingston resided in Valley Retirement Inn in Holtville for the past five years.

Survivors include his friend, Barbara Furry of El Centro, and numerous nieces and nephews.
