Dominguez speaker for IVC graduation

Gilbert Dominguez, retiring in June after six years as president of Imperial Valley College will be commencement speaker at IVC's annual commencement ceremony Saturday.

The ceremony will begin at 10 a.m. in the DePaoli Sports Complex at the Aten Road campus.

There are 241 candidates for graduation participating in this year's ceremony and 72 percent of those graduating are women, according to a press release issued by the college.

Those graduating Saturday will join more than 12,000 students who have graduated from IVC in the past 40 years.
