County to decide on $61,600 contract

The county Board of Supervisors is scheduled at its meeting Tuesday to approve a $61,600 contract for a consultant to analyze the need for and install a voice, data and security system in a not-yet-constructed county facility.

The consultant, Prime Tech, Inc. of Fountain Valley, was hired by the county under another contract in March to manage the final stages of the county's accounting software conversion.

The latest proposed contract calls for the work on four future buildings located at 2995 S. 4th St. in El Centro.

The board also will consider replacing seven separate leases for office space at 1295 State St. in El Centro with one lease for the entire building.


The new five-year lease proposed by county Behaviora; Health Services is for $18,200 a month.

The board is scheduled to consider authorizing a notice of completion of the contract for the water and sewer treatment plant at the Gateway of the Americas industrial development.
