Voice: Yeager a fine, fair judge

May 26, 2002

I have had several occasions through the course of my employment and most recently, as a potential juror to appear in Superior Court where the honorable Judge Christopher Yeager has presided.

In every matter I have observed where Judge Yeager was presiding, he has displayed not only the utmost professionalism (as would be expected of a judge) but consistently maintains a positive, friendly and upbeat demeanor in the courtroom. Judge Yeager shows the same respect and courtesy to a confused juror, an attorney (on what is commonly referred to as the proverbial fishing trip), or a defendant in a prison orange jumpsuit as he does everyone in the courtroom and involved in the proceedings.

I don't know if or when Judge Yeager may run again for his position, and I do not know him personally, but I have been so impressed by my observations of his courtroom proceedings that I wanted to let Imperial Valley citizens know that we are well served by the his honor, Judge Christopher Yeager.
